Keap Pricing in 2026: The Real Cost, Not the Headline

One plan, $299 a month, and at least four ways the bill grows from there. Here is the whole picture before you talk to sales.

Affiliate disclosure: This page contains affiliate links for GoHighLevel, which we compare against Keap further down. Keap pays us nothing. We have no incentive to make Keap look worse than it is, and we say plainly below where Keap is the better buy.
TL;DR: Keap sells one plan: $299/mo, or $2,988/yr (about $249/mo). That covers 2 users and 1,500 contacts. On top: $39/mo per extra user, a price that climbs with your contact count, an implementation package that is required at signup and quoted rather than published, text-message tiers from $24 to $279/mo, and a $299 early termination fee on annual contracts. Max Classic pricing does not exist for new customers, that tier is legacy only. Keap has been owned by Thryv since October 2024. Realistic small-team bill: around $390/mo plus one-off onboarding, before contact-tier scaling.

How much does Keap cost in 2026?

Keap publishes a single plan at $299 per month, or $2,988 billed annually, which works out to roughly $249 per month. That entry price includes two user licences and starts at 1,500 contacts. Keap dropped its old multi-tier lineup, so there is no cheaper starter option and no published enterprise tier: everyone lands on the same plan and the number moves with your seat count and list size.

What a real small team actually pays

Take a three-person service business sending a moderate amount of SMS: $299 base, plus $39 for the third user, plus $39 for the 2,500-message text tier, plus $10 for a local number. That is $387 a month, before the contact-tier increase and before the one-off onboarding package. The $299 headline is accurate, it is just not what most businesses end up on. Budget the first-year total, not the sticker: twelve months at $387 is $4,644, plus onboarding.
To be fair to Keap: bundling 500 texts and 100 voice minutes into the base plan is more generous than platforms that bill every segment from message one, and two seats included is reasonable. The criticism here is not that Keap is expensive for what it does. It is that the published $299 hides at least four variables, one of which (implementation) is mandatory and unpublished.

Why you cannot find Keap Max Classic pricing

Because it is not for sale. Max Classic is the legacy Infusionsoft product, and it sits alongside the old Pro, Max and Ultimate tiers as accounts-only: existing customers keep them, new customers cannot buy them at any price. Keap's help documentation still references those tier names, which is why search results keep pointing at them, but the purchase path is gone. If you are on Max Classic today, your rate is whatever your account was grandfathered onto, and the only way to find it is your own billing page or your account rep.

This matters if you are comparing old blog posts against current quotes. A lot of Keap pricing content still online describes a four-tier lineup starting near $99. That lineup no longer exists. The single $299 plan replaced it.

Keap is owned by Thryv now, and that is worth knowing

Thryv Holdings acquired Keap in a deal that closed in October 2024, for $80 million in cash. Both companies said at the time that the product and the support would carry on unchanged, and in practice Keap is still sold, supported and developed as Keap. The most visible change to users is that Keap's help documentation now redirects to Thryv's support platform.
The honest read, in both directions: an $80 million price against roughly $85 million of annual revenue is a low multiple for a SaaS business, and it is fair to read that as a signal about growth rather than a scandal. But acquisitions do not automatically hurt customers, and nearly two years on, Keap is still shipping and still supported. The practical takeaway is narrow and useful: if you are about to sign an annual contract with a $299 early termination fee, ask your rep directly about the product roadmap and how Keap and Thryv's own CRM tooling will coexist. Get the answer before the term starts, not after.

How to export your data out of Keap

Keap exports contacts to CSV, Excel or ZIP from Contacts, then People: select your contacts or tick Select All, choose Export at the bottom of the list, pick the fields you want, choose the file format, choose a delivery method and click Process. Exports of 1,000 contacts or fewer download immediately. Exports of 1,001 or more are emailed to you as a download link, and that link expires 24 hours after you request it, so grab it the same day.
The catch nobody warns you about: tags and notes are not included in a contact export. Notes have to be pulled separately through Reports and the Task Note Report, and tags, which for most Keap accounts carry the entire segmentation logic, do not come out with the contact file at all. If you are exporting because you are planning a migration, budget time to rebuild your segmentation by hand at the other end. Campaign and automation logic does not export either. Max Classic uses its own separate export path.

Worth saying plainly: exporting your contacts is a sensible thing to do on a schedule whether or not you are leaving. A current CSV backup costs you five minutes and is the cheapest insurance in your stack.

The cheaper all-in-one comparison

The reason most people land on a Keap pricing page is sticker shock, and the honest comparison is that GoHighLevel starts at $97 a month with unlimited contacts on every plan and no onboarding fee, while covering CRM, funnels, websites, email, two-way SMS and booking. Where Keap is genuinely better is invoicing, quotes and payment collection, which are more mature than GoHighLevel's, and a long small-business track record. Where GoHighLevel wins is breadth per dollar, no per-contact scaling, and an agency model with client sub-accounts and white label that Keap has no equivalent for.

Not an apples-to-apples win: GoHighLevel bills SMS, email and AI usage separately out of a prepaid wallet, so its $97 is a floor too. The difference is that GoHighLevel's floor does not rise when you add a user or your list grows past 1,500 people, which is the specific pressure that pushes Keap bills up. We broke the usage side down in what GoHighLevel actually costs per month, and the full plan detail is in the pricing guide.

When Keap is the right buy anyway

Keap earns its price when invoicing and payment collection are core to how you run, not a side feature. A small service business that quotes, invoices, chases payment and nurtures the same contact list in one place gets real value from Keap's maturity there. So does a team already trained on it: retraining costs are invisible on a pricing page and brutal in practice. And if you are a two-person business with a list under 1,500, you are paying close to the headline price rather than a multiple of it, which is the best-case version of this plan.

The signals to look elsewhere are equally concrete: you bought it mainly for email and pipelines and barely touch invoicing, you are one person paying for two seats, your list is growing fast enough that contact-tier scaling outpaces your revenue, or you need funnels, landing pages and two-way SMS that Keap treats as an afterthought.
